Shrouded by the white collared cloth,
Embracing, what was lost.

Time goes by,
Leaves brush through the air.
Searching and finding,
Autumn fades away.

Memories, of when we were young.
We fled from, what we thought was wrong because
your eyes were worth more than gold,
and I still believed
that we would still be together,
I didn’t want to leave.
We waited after the cold summer;
and I felt the need
to sing to you this one last time,
without the need to see.

Time goes by,
and the leaves fall to the ground.
Crashing, colliding
Autumn fades away.

Years have passed.
I reminisce the day;
we shattered our hearts and felt succumbing pain.

The life I’d foreseen,
Now haunt me in my dreams,

What could have been?
